Ravinia Brewing Company

Ravinia Brewing is my go-to brewery on the North Shore. Solid, consistent beers that offer a refreshing reprise from hot and humid summer weather. On my most recent visit, The Diversey Station lager wet my whistle and Medusa's Lagoon hazy IPA delivered a hop-forward tropical vacation. The house tacos provide a nice foil to the beers, simple and tasty. The service is always relaxed and friendly. The street-side seating slows the pace of life and lets me relax and imagine a life beyond the rat race of work and adult responsibilities. My wife enjoys the smaller pours that are available.

I 've recently started coming here a bit more and each time I go it feels more like home. In total I 've been 4 times, but the staff all know me by name and I get real Cheers vibes when I walk in now. Last night I got a chance to meet one of the owners, Jeff, and he bought me a round and posed for a picture when I said I 'm gonna put this on Yelp! He 's the guy on the far right. My favorite beers so far are Starseeker, Foodtruck, and Goza (spl? Great neighborhood bar to come watch a game or bring a date for a low pressure good time.

Delicious food and beer. Service could be better. Every time you have to call the waiter. The music is very loud, it's hard to talk. I asked to turn down the music but they didn't. Our food was served later than the other tables after us…

I was visiting my family and stopped in! The beer was phenomenal and the service and employees were super friendly and helpful! 10/10 would recommend and go again! Thank you!!

Come for the drinks and stay for the Food! The menu is amazing! Chef Brian offers some of the best options from appetizers to dessert!
