I have been here a few times now over the years and the wings/ fries and other menu items usually hit crazy. Idk this last time the food was not up to the usual par. One friend ordered a margarita pizza took two bites and didn’t eat anymore. Anotherfriend ordered the chicken Philly and couldn’t eat more than 1/2 since she didn’t like the taste. Another friend ordered thepatty melt and was disappointed as well. Even the wings I bragged so much to them about under delivered this time. The serverwas nice, but I’ve never had an issue with servers anytime I’ve visited this establishment. Nothing but good things to say about dinner at Ray Jay‘s in Minneapolis. We visited on Monday night for a birthday dinner and sat out on the patio. All of the food was great. Traditional boneless and a burger were ordered it was burger night as aspecial. All of the sauces we received were amazing the Sriracha peanut sauce was so good and there was a garlic spread on myburger that I couldn’t get enough of. We came into the restaurant almost at 9pm after our softball game on a Wednesday. They were just about to close down the dining area. We hand 8 people that needed to be seated and bar area was full. The went ahead and seated us in the dining are toaccommodate us. The waitress there was named Mary and she did a great job for being a newbie. The food was the delicious and thedrinks were cold. Thank you to the people at Ray J’s.
I selected this restaurant for my birthday dinner with my family after reviewing the menu, though I had some reservations due to a few negative reviews. I’m so glad I went ahead with it—the food and service were excellent! We sampled the yuca con mojo, empanadas, Jamaican chicken, beef tacos, and ropa vieja with congri, and everything was outstanding. We will definitely be returning!

I absolutely love the Conga! The drinks are expertly crafted, the food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The flavors are just perfect. On weekends, you can enjoy fun activities like karaoke and salsa dancing, which you definitely won't want to miss! In the photo, you can see the Shredded Beef Nachos paired beautifully with the Blue MOFO drink.
I ordered a medium juicy lucy. It didn’t come with any toppings and it wasn’t an option when I ordered it came very well done and very dry. I also got a side of potato salad and they literally put 4 bites in the bottom of a container. I spent a lotjust for those 2 items, and I was very disappointed. Not worth it.
I ordered food, but it never arrived. The waitstaff removed it from my bill, but then charged my card an amount that was higher than what it would have been with my food order. There are definitely better options in the neighborhood. Food rating: 1/5.
I'm not sure about the food, but when it transforms into a club at night, that's when I like to go. It can get quite crowded, and the drinks can take some time to arrive. However, it's a great place to enjoy a fun night of dancing!

First time there. My gash it was full alot of people 30 dlls to go in but with 3 or 4 drinks already paid. Not bad. I liked the music. Nice vibe
