Have dined in and had take away. Both times, the food was delicious and we devoured it all. In saying that.. Salt and pepper squid was disappointing-lacked flavour but was well cooked. The spicier dishes ordered - Szechuan and chilli beef were not at all hot (we didn't specify we wanted spicy but both should have some good heat regardless). Still, they were flavoursome! King prawns with ginger and shallot was a standout and the BBQ pork with special sauce was spot on. Ordered the special fried rice which wasn't as special as some others out there. All the food tasted fresh and were good sizes. This is not the cheapest Chinese you will ever order but it is tasty. Will be back!
While staying in Batemans Bay, I received multiple recommendations to try this restaurant. With so many people suggesting it, I had to give it a shot. And let me tell you, they were all absolutely right. It was one of the best Chinese meals I have ever had, and believe me, I've had quite a few. The salt and pepper prawns were piled high on the plate and all the dishes were incredibly flavorful. Even with four of us dining, we couldn't finish everything. The sizzling steak and crispy pork were particularly fantastic. This restaurant is a must-visit for delicious Chinese cuisine and friendly service.
I have not reviewed this restaurant for a while, even though my husband and I come here regularly. We had three meals here this month so far (5/5 for buffet with five friends, 15/5 for dinner with two friends, and dinner 17/5 with three friends). Every dish that we had was hot, generous and delicious. Service by the friendly staff has always been excellent. Susie runs a tight ship and it shows. Thank you for many memorable meals, and many more to come
A beautiful meal in a nice location. Very friendly staff and......... prawns to die for! A whole plate stacked high of honey long prawns. Nearly couldn't finish them there were so many. Was told they are Australian king prawns too, even better. So juicy and nicely cooked. Highly recommend, will return again during our 2 weeks holiday. So much to choose from on the menu, just got to go back for more.

Raymond's serves pretty decent Chinese, and the food is served up quite quickly. Apparently they don't add additional MSG either. The Aussie part of the menu is not so flash - the chicken schnitzel and accompanying vegetables were really average. Prices are also a little high for the quality of the food. It gets quite busy on weekends so best to get in early.
We opted for takeout, so I can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant, but the food was fantastic. It had all the classic Chinese flavors that transported me back to my childhood in the 80s. The Lemon Chicken and Beef with Black Bean sauce were flavorful, savory, and fresh. Highly recommend for a satisfying meal after a long day at the beach.
Being a bowls club restaurant, don't go here expecting fancy surrounds. If you're going for a nice, inexpensive meal, though, you can't go wrong. The short soups are delicious, and the sizzling garlic prawns are worth the visit alone. Service is friendly and efficient. My family and I make a point of going here every time we're in the area.
It's been a few years since I last reviewed this restaurant but have to say it deserves another. Quiet time if the year for a business in a tourist area but they didn't disappoint . The service was spot on, the food tasty and tbe evening enjoyable. Great place to come. Friendly staff and courtesy bus. L

You couldn't ask for better Chinese food. Had the banquet and was couldn't eat anymore halfway through. If your looking for Chinese food this is the place to come.
Delicious takeaway, very fast. A bit expensive though compared to what I would usually pay for Chinese.
