Stopped in at Ray 's for a much needed lunch. We were driving back home to New York from a job in North Carolina, and my friend told us about a good trini spot, where the owner makes the roti when you order. Turned out to be Ray 's. The establishment is clean and comfortable. Enough seating to have a meal with friends or family. All the usual caribbean food choices were available. I had Curried Duck, Channa and Potato, massala mango with a hot, freshly made roti. The serving was very adequate enough that my friends joked that I ordered the greedy size ?. The duck at first impression, because of the large pieces, I thought it would not be cooked properly, but I was as wrong as can be. It was...

My Trini friend told me about this place. Prior to her moving she would cook for me. I'm ?? PR, Native New Yorker, I grew up with my Trini ?? neighbor we would share dishes from our countries, here in MD the Carribean culture is nothing like NYC. I'm soo glad she told to go Ray's! That chicken Roti hit the spot! My daughter had Oxtails, rice and peas with plantain she loved her food. Overall, I'm very pleased and will try to go on Saturday so I can eat some doubles!

Ray's Caribbean is hands down the best Caribbean restaurant I've experienced in Harford County. The food is bursting with flavor and truly delicious. With my family being Jamaican, dining at Ray's feels like a taste of home. The Curry Chicken and Goat are fantastic, and the Roti is simply outstanding. My all-time favorite dish is the Ackee and Salt Fish. I highly recommend this place to everyone! My husband, who is from St. Croix, also loves eating here.

We ordered 9 lunch specials today from Ray’s Caribbean and it was a great experience. All drinks and food were carefully prepared and the entire order was correct. The to-go containers were labeled so this was very convenient and easy. The restaurant is very clean, the staff was very friendly and kind! The food and homemade drinks were DELICIOUS! Large portions too. I can’t wait to visit this restaurant again! Book a table now

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise! The lentil-stuffed roti, curried goat, and the spicy mango with chickpeas were all absolutely amazing. I’ll definitely try to return if it fits into my travel plans.

The food was mediocre, and the customer service left much to be desired. I just had an unpleasant experience where someone hung up on me. I think I'll take my business elsewhere!
