We were invited to lunch by an old college friend who had been judge in Laredo and now lives in Santander. In previous visits to Spain we visited him and his wife in Santander and eaten at the Nautico there. No comparison. The Laredo version is a couple of notches upscale in qualify of food and service. This time enjoying the view of the estuary of Santona Bay. We chose the fabes (buttery large beans from Asturias) with clams and the generous portions of turbot grilled to perfection. That washed down with a good Albarino was a perfect combination. Less satisfying was the cheese- based cuajada dessert. It is unclear whether the restaurant is open to non-members, but if it is, make the effort...
Paramos aquí para almorzar mientras estábamos en Laredo y tomamos el menú fijo de 20 € que incluye tres platos, pan, café y media botella de vino. La comida tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio, con buenas opciones para cada plato, incluidas las vegetarianas. Cocina de buena calidad, buen servicio, bonito comedor e instalaciones. Aparcamiento disponible en el sitio.
Menú a buen precio, con varios platos a elegir. Nos gustó todo lo que comimos. Y por supuesto las vistas son preciosas. Solo hubo una cosa que no me gustó, al llegar como faltaba una persona por llegar, intentamos pedir algo en la barra y nos dijeron que si no éramos socios no podíamos estar allí y no nos sirvieron.
Un restaurante donde por 22 euros, puedes comer un buen menú del día, rico y bien elaborado. Acompañado por unos buenos camareros y unas mesas muy bien vestidas, esto último algo casi imposible ver, con un precio así. Creo que es muy difícil no repetir siempre que se tenga ocasión.

The personnel is very unfriendly and agressive. I strongly don't recommend to go there. There are hundreds of better places in the north of Spain. I cannot evaluate the food. Due to the agressive old man on the parking, I did not enter.

Fuimos un día de semana a comer del día que es cuando permiten entrar a personas que no son socias y genial, la cocina es de muy buena calidad!! Sin duda repetiremos!!
