Enjoyed some lunch today with my colleagues. This was our 1st time and will definitely be coming back again. Homemade food, cornbread, desserts and the prices are very reasonable. We had chicken fried chicken, meatloaf and fried catfish. The sides are perfect southern sides, including fried okra, fried corn nuggets, fried squash, among many other selections. The atmosphere is laid back with a touch of Texas tastefully decorated throughout. The best part was the Texas hospitality by the staff.
Amazing service! The food was great. I highly suggest ordering rolls! They?re sweet, fluffy and warm. The cornbread was also good, I enjoyed the hint of sweetness it had. I ordered the club sandwich and it was way more than I expected! I couldn?t even finish it. The fries were fresh and tasty. My sandwich was really good and filling. The only ?complaint? is about the restroom. I give that a 2/5. It could use some deep cleaning and fixing up. Overall, great food and great service!

I love this Family Owned Restaurant The owners are so Nice Staff is very professional Never have to wait for food or drinks. Very healthy portions. Decent prices. Service Excellent Waitress are always smiling and kind of pretty too. I eat here every Sunday for breakfast If you haven?t eaten here before MUST TRY??
