We were here with friends in early January. The restaurant was jam packed and there was one large group of about 25 sitting together. You couldn't hear yourself think. I ordered the Kütteln sauer. Accompanying salad was good. The Rösti were OK but right on the border of being too brown. There was a faint burnt potato taste. The Kütteln were surprisingly mediocre. I've had this dish a number of times here and it has been excellent. This time the sauce was over salted and concentrated. As though they made a quick bit of instant stock and over did it with powder. It was also thickened with cornstarch. Too thick to start with with and a disgusting gluey mess by the time I finished the meal. Also...
We had lunch there on a Thursday and the place was packed (the Swiss Franc is strong against the Euro at the moment). Good thing we had a reservation. Service was friendly, competent and not harried in spite of the crowd. I had a simple Wienerschnitzel which was OK but nothing outstanding. The accompanying french fries tasted as though they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. My partner had a "geschnetzeltes" mixture of liver, kindey and pork filet. It was excellent. It had been some time since we were last here and went for lunch yesterday, 28.1.2016. We found it is still good value for money. Service is very good and friendly. Tables are well spaced and provide very comfortable seating. I had the tripe (Kutteln sauer) and that was excellent. It was accompanied by a salad and Rösti. The only thing I thought could be improved upon were the Rösti. Instead of being composed of individual batons of potato it was more in the direction of fried mashed potatoes. Good but not what a Swiss would consider proper Rösti. We will definitely keep it on our list of winners.
We ordered pike perch with roasted potatoes - mixed salad as a starter was included -accompanied by a glass of Riesling. For dessert, we tried the restaurant's suggestion: rhubarb tart with vanilla ice-cream. The food was fresh, the service was very friendly and the dessert delicious. The prices are adapted to Swiss standards; as a matter of fact, the vast majority of the cars parked had Swiss number plates.The only minor inconvenience was that our table was next to the entrance, we would have appreciated a better table location.

So on my stay at Weil, had a great opportunity to be at Rebstock. Brilliant drive in to serenity. The garden sitting outside is good but since we had a table reserved in we did go in. Brilliant ambience and it is quite obvious that the family runs it close to the heart. Food is top class. We had soup of day with fish starter and it was good. Then for the mains I had salmon with white asparagus. Oh boy, want that great. And for the dessert on the order was ice meringue. Brilliantly done.
Visited the hotel for the start of our trip trough the Swiss and France Alps. Rooms booked via internet. Rooms were nice, clean and very important had a air-conditioning, which is very nice to have after a 7 hour ride on the bike in 30C+.We didn't use the dinner. Breakfast cost a 6 Euro extra but certainly value for money. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, fresh orange use etc. excellent.Hotel is highly recommended. It has a parking place, so it is easy to park your bike.
I went there several times on business tripps. Every room has its own style so it is pretty much like staying in different hotels. The service is friendly and the food is excellent (maybe a little expensive). If I would go on holiday in this region I'd consider staying at this nice place.
family run old style, modern kitchen style restaurant (attached you have accommodation for short or mid term stay). Decoration of the dining room is adequate and tasteful. Meal had was excellent and price worthy. Beer garden.

The Rebstock is good restaurant with very good local food. The service was nice and quick as well. Worth a try if you are around.
Went there to have dinner .it was midweek. You have to try the fish carpaccio as an appetizer. Delicious
