We were a bit surprised that the Amish Chicken Pot Pie came with the crust and filling separate, but it made sense to keep the pastry from getting soggy. It was a little tricky to figure out how to assemble it in the hospital room. The side salads were fresh and flavorful, and the Truffle Fries were simply amazing—absolutely worth trying. Overall, while it was a pricey meal, the quality and portion sizes made it well worth it.
This was the first time we have ordered from this restaurant and we were very happy with the meals. It has been a long time to find a restaurant that made a Shepard pie that delicious. It was a wonderful experience. All of the food was wonderful. The bread pudding was exceptional. Hats off to the chef. Our family will order from this restaurant again. We were seated within 10 minutes, and the burgers were, as always, fantastic. The service was exceptional! We're really glad we chose Redcoat, especially since it's been a while since we last visited because it's a 45-minute drive away.
Outstanding burger, easily the top burger in Metro Detroit. Love the red lighting of course. Can be busy so be prepared, it is a good place to eat of course. Nice bar as well. Highly recommended, on the pricey side for drinks. Book a table now
I visit this place for their Cornwallis corned beef sandwich, which is the best I've ever had! I also tried their buffalo chicken macaroni, and it was delicious as well. Their pomegranate martini is also quite good!
The Tavern Salad is undoubtedly the best salad at any restaurant in Metro Detroit. Plus, the Truffle Fries are the finest I've ever tasted.
Our burgers are consistently good, clam chowder is never disappointing, and the battered onion rings are the best around.
Fun atmosphere but sitting by front door requires wearing a parka! The burgers are excellent but a little pricey. Book a table now
