I ate here 3 days ago to this date and was feeling hot as ever on day 2 but ignored it, until I started sweating profusely last night. I’m assuming the virus was working its way through my immune system which is hard seeing as I’m an herbalist. I ate crabs, chicken, calamari, and Oysters and I know it was the oysters that did this to me.The food wasn’t the best but i wasn’t expecting to get a stomach virus from eating there I’m disgusted!!!!!
Stay clear of this place! I got the hot trots within 15 minutes of leaving! The food is tasteless and not cooked well! They are never busy which means your seafood sits for long periods of time! Also the wait staff is a mix of Ghetto people with the Yo what you need attitude and little girls who could careless about there jobs! Also the parking lot is filled with needles and beer cans!
They don't greet people well, but the food comes fast and the drinks are alright. The quality of the food was top tier! We left very full which is great. Everything was steaming H O T and well seasoned. It was a very spacious spot too. For the lobster tail though...sizes were a bit too small for their price.
The seafood boil and the fried catfish were amazing. I highly recommend this place. Not the fanciest atmosphere, but we did not care. My family visited Red Crab Juicy Seafood in Waterbury, and I must say, the snow crab legs were the best I've ever had—absolutely fantastic! My wife also enjoyed their king crab; it was delicious.
I would have rated this restaurant 5 stars because the ambiance is lovely. However, the food is quite greasy, and they don't offer coffee refills. The price of the coffee doesn't match its value.
Red Crab is a very good seafood restaurant. The food is delicious and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.
