Disappointing experience: for $40, ordered double koobideh platter and double meat platter. Doesn’t come with a vegetable side, the bread is spongy and dry and all of the meat was over cooked and dry. Very bland. There are so many great kabab places…everyone one we have previously ordered from has a heaping container of rice and salad with a full size naan, plenty of sauces, and a side of vegetables for each order. Despite that, if the food had been flavorful and fresh, we’d be happy to order again. For years I have always gone to Dulles Town Center Mall for Kabob. This is the first and last time I buy from Red Kabob. When I entered the restaurant it was dead, not a single customer. I wasn?t greeted by anyone. Instead I was ask what my order was. After I paid, luckily I asked if my order of chickpeas was in the bar. The woman responded with, ?No! Because you didn?t order any.? The food was delicious! Everything was fresh and generously portioned. Our server was friendly, and his secret sauces were absolutely delightful. The meat was tender and juicy, while the rice was fluffy and seasoned just right. However, the interior of the restaurant could use some improvements to match the quality of the food. The decor appears somewhat worn, and the tape holding the menu to the counter is cracking.
Went to Red Kobab around 9:00pm and there was an employee sitting inside with the open sign. Online and in store states they close at 10 and all the doors were locked. We knocked on the door and the employee literally ignored us. Just close up if you?re going to act like that and don?t advertise that you?re open until 10:00pm.

The food at this restaurant is exceptional. Although we typically order takeout, it often takes longer than estimated, but the quality of the food makes up for it. The parking situation can be challenging as the lot is shared by multiple businesses.

One of the best salads I've ever tasted at a place that serves kabob everything else from the chicken to the rice was excellent. I just wish they had chickpeas.Food: 5/5
Ordered for pick up, the food came out pretty quick. The owners are nice and friendly. Not enough meat in the lamb's platter, but was overall full and satisfied.

Good every time. Green and white sauces are awesome. Gyro meat is tender and not dry every time I've gotten it.
