Wow, every time we have eaten at Red Lantern, the food has been great, hot, and reasonable. However tonight we had it delivered and what a disappointment : Our order was more than 15 minutes late. And we ordered more than a hour a head of time! When I called to check on our order, the number went to voicemail and indicated that messages were not being taken?! The fried rice was literally white?! It had no flavor and it was dry as a bone. All of the food was luke warm and was clearly made with no care or love. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! Come on Red Lantern! You can do much better. I would greatly appreciate a discount y of some sort so I have incentive to try again. It will take a while though to...
This restaurant can be quite inconsistent with its food. There are times when the chefs really excel and the dishes are packed with flavor and taste great. However, there are also occasions when I’ve ordered the same meal, and it just lacks any flavor at all. I can’t quite understand how that happens. The last time I ordered, I had the chicken and broccoli, but it was completely bland, and I couldn’t eat it. Interestingly, the previous time I had that same dish, it was delicious. Because of this inconsistency, I’m hesitant to order from here again, as I never know if I will get something tasty or something tasteless.
I've been coming here for years and this was super frustrating. I order online. They won't allow you to customize anything online. They tell you you have to call. so I call and I call and I call. I called six times no answer. I get there and they tell me. They won't do anything to change the order. But how do you answer the phone my order would have been correct. Now I have food that I don't want because I don't eat it this way. And they don't care. Super terrible service
I ordered through Yelp for takeout and my husband picked it up without any issues. Food came out on time and they gave good portions.I really enjoyed the fried rice and chow mein, they were not stingy at all with the meat and it had good flavor! I thought the orange chicken was just okay and will probably try a different style of chicken for next time.

I have only gotten food from here via delivery but it hits every time. Today I ordered their veggie chow fun, veggie rolls, and crab rangoons. Everything was delicious and piping hot when it arrived; I would definitely order these items again. In the past I've gotten their chow mein and salt and pepper shrimp which I would also recommend.
The egg rolls and chicken were wonderful! The only downside of this place is that they have a definite focus on their take-out business, so we saw several orders going out the door before we got our food and they weren't that attentive to us (in a mostlyempty room). However, they were very nice and the food was really good and affordable!
Please note: There seems to be a new owner. I saw some talk on Nextdoor warning of that and that the place has gone down hill in very recent history. Same menu, but the quality of has dropped drastically. I tried for myself and I have to say it was a big disappointment. I can't recommend any longer. So sad.
**Parking:** There are standard parking spaces available right in front of the restaurant, along with extra parking in the lot.
**Kid-friendliness:** The restaurant is kid-friendly.

The food was quite bland today. The various dishes all seemed to have a similar taste and lacked seasoning. Unfortunately, my family did not enjoy the meal.
