We came here with a few friends, who had a hankering for crispy pork belly, and saw photos of Instagram of this place and decided that we had to eat here. I'm not the biggest fan of Vietnamese food that will definitely serve this restaurant, but I like the taste occasionally. As far as the authenticity goes, I can not say. This place is certainly not led by Vietnamese people, and the food does not feel super authentic, like the food they would find in a small shop sold in a huge bowl for 10 US dollars. Came here on a last minute decision to take my wife out to dinner and our 3month old daughter. Luckily they had 1 table available, it was outside but it really didn't mater, the night was mild and they have a heater and blankets (which we didn't need). There was also room for a pram so we could have a romantic meal (kind of) with our baby not being in the way. It was also nice to know if the baby cried it wasn't going to be a disturbance to others so we could relax. Ok, so the food.. OMG WOW. We ordered the beef cube (angus beef with black pepper), crispy duck noodle, water spinach and their famous salt & pepper squid. I've been wanting to visit red lantern for a while after attending one of Mark Jensen's cooking classes and being an avid Luke Nguyen's greater Mekong fan. The restaurant holds a familiar atmosphere, almost like you're at your mums house for a feast. The staff are incredibly friendly and fun, they're great to make suggestions for the menu. We had a set menu which was very filling and full of flavour. Each dish was wonderfully flavoured and very generous. The salt and white pepper squid and the wagyu pepper beef were my personal favorites, both cooked to perfection and moreish. If you are after an intimate dinner for two, I would not recommend red lantern. The tables are centimeters from each other and if they have loud neighbors, they expect to learn everything about their lives and unable to have their own conversation. On the food, the dry need was the most beautiful dish we had, very delicious. The grilled shrimp were nice, the duck breast was tender, but TBH is not better than their average snack. The most disappointing court was the young sack fruit salad, the tofu in him was nice, but the jack fruits tastes like artichoke, apparently it's. Also your loans you did not calculate for the salad we had appreciated. Not as good as six years ago.

The ultimate eater experience! The food was absolutely on the point, my favorite was the tea smoked duck. Followed by beef. The cocktails were confused, and our Wait staff was the best I've ever come. You will lick your plates clean! Literally!

Fixed food! Modernized Vietnamese food with traditional flavors. The dishes were pretty small and expensive, but it's topnotch! The cocktails were strong and delicious.
