We were fortunate to secure the only available table on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't realize they only serve brunch on Sundays, but overall, the food was enjoyable. We ordered the Gobi Manchurian, which unfortunately arrived cold after sitting in the kitchen for a while. However, the shakshuka was flavorful, and the lentil soup was good and served at the right temperature. The service, though, was lacking—it ranked a 2/5, as the waitstaff took too long to take our orders and bring out our meals, which were already prepared. The restaurant was packed, and it's clear the kitchen was doing well under pressure. I would consider returning on a weekday to try their regular menu.

I’ve been going to red lentil for many years. It’s a staple veg restaurant in the Boston area. I don’t think you can miss on any of the menu items. Everything is delicious! A couple of favorites include Gobi Manchurian and nachos (request vegan). Also love their brunch! Most things are either vegan or can be prepared vegan if requested. Reservations available for parties of 6 or more. The AC can be cold, so I recommend you wear layers. As expected, lunch prices are a bit more affordable than dinner but both are reasonable. The restaurant offers excellent vegan fusion cuisine that combines American classics with an Indian flair. We began our meal with Gobi Manchurian, which was both flavorful and tender. For the main course, the noodle dish was average, but the burger stood out as a unique must-try. The Jackfruit Tacos came topped with bhujia, which added an Indian touch, although it didn’t significantly enhance the flavor—I found it a bit lacking in spice and salt. The quesadilla was enjoyable. Overall, the menu is creative and features uniquely presented dishes.
Ordered from Uber and paid the crazy markup hoping it would be worth it. The Shepherds pie was amazing. It was a little sweet with a great balance of flavors and a decent portion size. The Lasagna was just ok, good portion size but the sauce was bland and the noodles overcooked. It reheated well and was better with a bit more salt and pepper. The guacamole was bland and came in a tiny portion, it was definitely way overpriced. Overall I can only recommend the Shepherds pie, I would definitely order it again. Book a table now
I had a great experience at this charming restaurant with plenty of vegan choices. The portobello calamari appetizer was incredibly tasty. My husband enjoyed the paella while I had the Nirvana Delight, both dishes were fantastic. We were too full for dessert this time, but we'll definitely be back to try the vegan options that sounded delicious. Our server provided excellent service.
Perfect place for food lovers with vegetarian/ vegan/ gluten sensitive friends. I am a meat lover and this is by far the best vegetarian/ vegan restaurant. I loved their kale chips (I love kale too), carrot cake, and my mushroom special was perfect. Leftovers heated up nicely too. Easy to find parking on street. Wait staff were so helpful.
This restaurant offers a wide selection of healthy vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options for lunch, dinner, drinks, and desserts at affordable prices. I particularly enjoyed the coconut and herb crusted tofu with corn cake and spinach. I wish there were more restaurants like this in every city.
I absolutely adore their gobi manchurian and their nachos made with vegan cheese. The restaurant also offers fantastic special seasonal options, such as a multi-course Thanksgiving dinner. Even my non-vegan friends enjoy dining here because there is always something delicious for everyone to enjoy! Book a table now
