I was strolling down Leytonstone high road looking for a place to eat. Glad I have found this pub. Did not feel very adventurous so went for the burger, it was delicious! The highlight for me, though, was the service; so friendly and helpful. (A lovely member of staff even wrapped up another burger to take away hope I'm not getting anyone in trouble! . Love the decor too. Huge selection of beers, must come back for the deckchair movie festival and to try some of the craft beers on offer.
We had roast dinners beautifully cooked and lots of meat. I had lovely lean succulent pork and my friend had beef. Really good friendly service and a great atmosphere. The red lion never disappoints!
Such a great find. Amazing craft beer selection, good staff knowledge. The best food and good doggie and baby spotting!!
The staff is caring and professional, also patient. Made my day, which seemed to be spoilt, thanks.
