I went here last night with a large group of friends. It is just off the main street in Landstuhl and an easy walk from the city cwnter. The pub is easy to find and is painted bright red. The pub is kind of small but they have two rooms. The staff are very friendly and there are always American's hanging around. The beers are what you woud expect and they do make great mixed drinks. We were there too late to eat so if your hungry after midnight you better eat befroe arriving. We stayed until nearly 2:30 AM so it was open plenty late.
Owners were stressed and unfriendly, would not go again at least until restrictions are lifted. Were told that our group ordering drinks exceeded the limit allowed at the bar. Then assigned seating in the next room, minutes later are drinks show up and...we are told that we forgot them at the bar. We were sat next to the billiards table, and had to get up every three minutes so people could take their shots. Every time we stood up we were yelled at that we had to put our mask on. Had one drink and left.
If it’s good enough for Capt. Kelly then it’s good enough for me! If you’re lucky enough to find yourself here ask John the owner if Jeff is there and buy him a beer (for real)! Jeff and his wife will be the best conversation...over a lovely pint, and they know all the goods on all the snacks...wings are a must! Enjoy this happy little place, you only live once
My husband and I love the fun bar patrons and awesome pub staff at the Red Lion. I always love grabbing a draft Newcastle and a BLT sandwich with curly fries. A TRUE pub where they get to know you. Not just a business. Highly...recommended. Bar games and entertainment nightly and Karaoke on Friday. So much fun!

Karaoke on Friday nights with Lil Simba on the mike is a guaranteed night of amazing music, fun, singing, as well as good food and drink. Call ahead and make sure that it's a Lil Simba night. Then come on out and plan on staying...until closing time...cause the time flies!
This place in not right in Landstuhl (but a short walk). Beer selection on tap is the norm at all pubs in the area. Also, has craft beers. Not a large menu, but all food is tasty (been he a few times). Best of different...activities each night.
John, the owner, took the time to talk with us and even had a pint with us. His Buffalo style chicken wings are the absolute best in the area. Lively atmosphere with friendly service and a large beer selection... what else could you ask for!?!
This was my NYE spot and as bars go, this is the best one I've celebrated a holiday in. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. I definitely see myself regularly visiting this spot during my time in Germany.

Great atmosphere, military friendly, and up and coming pub. Have to try their wings they are great. Service is great very clean bar. Definitely a place to have a good time and enjoy Germany.
Very friendly place with a great vibe, great staff and drinks. Overall a great place. I go here all the time. It's everything I like about a pub and nothing I don't.
