I recently came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy with a short wait but not as long as wait at other locations in the mall (that should have been a hint). I have been here before but it has been a while. We decided to go here to have something different that we didn 't do in a while, and it was not great. We were given 15 20 min wait time, and we were texted in about 20 minutes. The waitress we had was extremely nice, patient, and polite, but the service in the entire restaurant was super slow. It took about 15 20 mins just for our drinks. The drinks were also made inconsistent throughout the night so some were great, some were ok, and some were terrible (for the same drink margarita)....
I was disheartened to learn that Red Lobster had filed for bankruptcy and closed several locations, so I was relieved to discover that the Cross County restaurant was still open. I visited with my grandson and his girlfriend, and we each ordered Snow Crab. Two of us selected the Roasted Garlic Snow Crabs with French fries, while the third ordered plain steamed crabs. I hadn't visited Red Lobster in years, and my companion had never been before. We arrived around 6 PM on a Friday night. The hostess wasn't particularly welcoming; she didn't greet us or engage in conversation. While the restaurant didn't seem overly busy, we were informed that there would be a 20-30 minute wait for our party of two. Once we were finally seated, we had to wait quite a while for a server to attend to us. Although our server was friendly, everything seemed to take an inordinate amount of time—from taking our drink orders to delivering our drinks and the bill. Red lobster is on the comeback YALL. Endless shrimp and crab legs were perfect on my recently visit to the chain. My family and I ordered Brussel sprouts, broccoli, crab legs $20 Tuesdays) and endless shrimp. The shrimp scampi was on point to me, my mom enjoyed the Walt's famous shrimp and my sister loves the skewers. Service was good and it was packed in there YALL so our waitress did have a lot to do but she was okay. You can tell they might need a little more staff because like I said Red lobster is back. This is my third and final visit to this restaurant, and I won't be coming back. The service was slow, and the staff didn't check in with customers often. The most concerning aspect was the cleanliness of my table; the booth I sat in was sticky, making me wonder when it had last been cleaned. The food also did not meet expectations. The oil used for frying the seafood had an off-putting taste that negatively affected the overall flavor of the dish. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Red Lobster Cross County and advise looking for a different place to dine. I wouldn't be surprised if this location closes in the future.
Our waiter was friendly, but I had to request water and biscuits after a long wait. The drinks were enjoyable, but the lobster was rubbery, and my steak was overcooked despite my request for medium well. They also forgot my side of broccoli. I was promised that my food would be remade, but that never happened. Although they did take a significant amount off the bill, I left feeling hungry with a free dessert I didn't want. It seemed like the staff was more focused on chatting with each other than attending to customers. I wouldn't eat there again.
The dinner was quite forgettable. I ordered iced tea, but they didn't have any. My nephew got a steak, which was only about the size of a small wallet. My sister asked for an apple martini, but they informed her they couldn't make it. What she ended up ordering seemed to have no alcohol at all—there was no buzz from it whatsoever. To make matters worse, the lights became dim, which didn't help the situation. Overall, it was not an enjoyable experience!
Came here and I must Ssat the service was horrible. I was seated in the dinning area and waitress 10 minutes and no one came to greet me provide me with any service. I escorted myself to the bar and then received better service but still bad. The food was ok. The bartender was very disengaged given I was the only customer at the bar. I probably would not return due to the bad service I received.

Came for their Tuesday $24 pound of crab legs special and boyyyy did it hit the spot! Best deal one could get for some crab legs! Got a good like 3-4 clusters w the delicious roasted garlic butter seasoning they offer. Definitely will be coming more often on Tuesdays for this. Our waitress was so polite and attentive.
Red Lobster is still one of our best neighborhood restaurants to visit. It is a decent place to go for okay seafood. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is great. The drinks are excellent????!!!
