We tried to make it our econd time there yesterday, however the service was nonexistent so we had to leave.After a half hour wait to get a table, we were called up. The hostess only called for us one time and we missed it. Luckily, we also got a text and went up to get seated.Once we were seated, we waited another 25 minutes and no waiter came by at all. Not to check in on us or to give us water or biscuits or anything.We were very hungry and had to leave because we couldn't keep waiting for someone to come by.Since we were trying to celebrate a birthday, this was an especially disappointing experience.
I had a fantastic meal and overall experience at this restaurant. The biscuits were even better than I remembered, despite not having been to a Red Lobster in over 2 years. The Seaside Shrimp Trio was very filling, and the seafood stuffed mushrooms were delicious. I wasn't a fan of the mozzarella sticks, but that didn't detract from my experience - I simply won't order them again. My server was excellent and attentive, although I unfortunately can't recall her name. I will update my review next time I visit and ask for it. All the dishes came out delicious and promptly.
I really enjoy this restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is served hot. The wait time for food is minimal, and they always start you off with their signature cheese biscuits, which are fresh and tasty. The prices are a bit high, especially for premium dishes like snow crab legs and surf and turf meals, but the food is delicious. I particularly love their Red Argentinian Shrimp platter - a must-try! I highly recommend this Red Lobster location in Van Dorn, Alexandria, VA.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. It took over two hours for us to be seated due to extremely low staffing. I do not recommend this place. They informed us about the wait time, but then seated five large parties that arrived after us anyway. We had been waiting patiently, and overall, it was not a good experience.

Food was awesome and the waiter we had was awesome. Very nice people and well known on the menu. The fish is good, lobster pizza was pretty good as well. Can't go wrong with the red lobster biscuits. Food took a little bit, but over all it was a good experience. :
Very dry and little flavor. Inconsistent and poor presentation. Not fresh at all ?On the other hand the server and the manager were exceptional. Worst Red Lobster I've ever been to. This was this was my first trip to Washington DC and this area. Disappointing!
I LOVED this restaurant! The food was amazing and I couldn't stop eating the biscuits. The overall ambience of the place is very well done, and I appreciated the work they put into making the place feel nice. I would definitely come again
Food was well-prepared. Service could've been better (had to ask for silverware and still didn't get a knife). I was warned ahead of time that everything was slower than normal. It surely was. It took over an hour to get the entree'.
