So my Family I decided to go out for lunch to Red Lobster in Centerville Ohio for her 25th Birthday, a very special mark in someone 's life, right? I ordered the Coconut shrimp dinner, priced at $15.50 she ordered a trio appetizer, priced at $13.00 which were supposed to consist of stuffed mushrooms, a shrimp cocktail a few of the coconut shrimp (we weren 't sure how many at the time) but, being that we both love coconut shrimp, she asked our waitress to ask her manager if she could switch out the cocktail shrimp for more coconut shrimp. When our meals came, I noticed that my meal, which cost $2.50 more, only had 2 more shrimp then hers, so I told our waitress that I was disappointed of this...
We don 't frequent R.L. but met with friends who had gift cards. Wife I tried the cedar plank Salmon shrimp special. We both asked the salmon be prepared medium rare each came out very well done When we told the server the kitchen had missed the mark on the salmon prep, he replied they really don 't "do it that way, after saying nothing of the sort when we placed the order. wife 's shrimp was under-cooked ....and thats hard to do. All in all, it was what we expected. 'Probably should have played to their strengths and stuck with the salad or maybe fried selections, their specialty. My husband and I were on a late Valentine's Day dinner we had saved some money got to go out of town and have a really nice dinner we had Lobster Fest meals beautiful Lobster we thought they were so tiny is like the size of my pointer finger from top to bottom and there was no real flavor in them my steak tasted like it had been boiled and then grill marks put on it my waitress dropped the food didn't come back to check on us until after the majority of the dinner was over didn't bring my husband's coleslaw we had to ask for it very disappointed my husband and I spent over $100 and could have got a better meal at McDonald's and yes I do know how to flavor food to put some of this comment and...
We had reservations for 6 on 12/24/22 630. Even after calling the day before to confirm the restaurant being open on Christmas Eve which they did confirm they were, we showed up to the restaurant closed. Not a car in the lot. Horrible. Even if based on the weather they could be closed, it is the responsibility of the manager to contact all the reservations ahead of time to advise that they were closed to allow for alternative plans. Pathetic. The restaurants surrounding that area were still open and were gracious to serve us. Red Lobster needs to do better than that.

I am not from Dayton, but I have lived here ling enough to finally visit and I have already been back. Kudos to the chef and staff. These are all long time employees and it shows in the food and service they provide and serve. The atmosphere is always pleasant when the team members are in it as a statement, because chances are you'll see them again and again. I enjoyed being pleasantly surprised.
Our waitress was great! However, the food wasn't the best. I wanted to send it back, but as a courtesy to my husband I didn't. We probably won't return to that location.
I haven't been here in yrs. Tried it last week and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great along with my food.
