it was my 50th birthday and the first week after the end of the lockdown. we arrived at 18 o'clock and were expected what was nice. the gardens are beautiful, and the scene was set for a really special meal. there was a fire pit with comfortable chairs and a small marquee illuminated and decorated with feenlights to really feel special; kissing, carpeting, tee lights and a truly effective heating! I sat with the sun on my face and watched the sun behind the lodge, climbing around me with chickens, then swallowed into the most delicious food.
