Expectations were high since a friend had recommended Redd's Biergarten as a place to go for Octoberfest, however ended up having a pretty bad experience at Redd's Biergarten. Not knowing how busy a Saturday evening/night would be I called ahead tomake reservations for a table of 10. I actually called twice, first for an 8pm, and then changed it to 9pm. When my friends andI arrived, the staff told us that there were no reservations and that the kitchen was closed at 9pm. I had specificallymentioned that we were going for dinner. Had I known that the kitchen was closing at 9pm, I would've made other plans. When Ichecked with the staff regarding the reservations, they started to insinuate that...

What had happened was...my flight got canceled and rerouted through Newark so here I am and this place is walking distance from my hotel. The food is outstanding (not a huge fan of the cole slaw but everything else was fantastic). Good food, good beer, and the service was excellent. It didn't have to be, given the number of people in the place, but it was, so hats off to thebartenders. If you're in the area and have a hankering for respectable german fare and good beer? This is where you want togo.

So here's the situation - my flight got cancelled and rerouted through Newark, so I ended up here at this restaurant, which is conveniently close to my hotel. The food was amazing (although I wasn't a big fan of the cole slaw), everything else was fantastic. The food was delicious, the beer selection was great, and the service was top-notch. Despite the busy crowd, the bartenders did a fantastic job. If you're in the area and craving some good German food and beer, this is the place to go.

I had a disappointing experience with this restaurant. They added an extra $8 tip to my $18 takeout lunch, which I had already rounded up to the nearest dollar. Honestly, I shouldn't have tipped at all, especially since it took nearly 10 minutes to find someone to take my order, even though the place was empty at noon. Luckily, I held onto the receipt. It’s unfortunate because the food was actually quite good, but I just can't justify going back after this. Book a table now

Great service at the bar, and a friendly host only thing is I got an upset stomach from my lunch. I had the burger platter, think it was the tartar sauce.I've been going there for 2 years, and never once have I been offered a buyback. All they do is charge extra on everything if you use your credit card it's an extra charge if you have a drink and you want it on the Rocks it's an extra charge everything is extra extra extra extra extra extra extra extra

This restaurant is a complete disappointment. My wife and two kids visited before an event, and they added a 25% gratuity for our party of four, including children! On top of that, we had to order our food and pick it up ourselves, so there was no actual service to warrant such a high tip. The prices were also outrageous—my daughter’s chicken and fries cost $22! I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Steffanie was great. She was attentive and gave great service. Everything was fast and efficient. She was kind and funny to our corny jokes. She made us feel at home excited for The Weeknd concert. Whenever we are in New Jersey (we are from New York) wewill stop back in and ask for her. Thank you again! You kept the best vibes!

This place is very friendly! The beer selection is big and there's something for everyone. The bartenders are great, especially Jose! He went above and beyond for our group and it didn't go unrecognized. I highly recommend this place!
