"We stayed at Refuge de Miage to make our first day on the TMB a bit easier than usual since we knew we would be very jet lagged (9hour time difference). The dinner was the best we had on the TMB, the room was great, and the setting gorgeous. Also the staff was friendly and helpful."

We visited this wonderful restaurant in a stunning setting on a Sunday mid October. We thought it would be closed for the season so we had a picnic with us. However they were open as but for reservations only. Somehow they managed to fit us in and we took our sandwiches home for a the next day. The circular walk to here from the parking at Gruvaz is not to be missed. Make sure you book though as it is very popular.

It looked great : it was not ! blueberry were barely defrosted , with still water escaping on the pie... A pity because pastry was ok and they added whipped cream that were good ! But what a shame to serve such horrible blueberries, so typical of the region but so disappointing when frozen and tasteless ...

Super site with a grandiose panorama especially at sunset. We were in a small chalet for 2 people with transat : a treat !! And a great bravo to the Chalet team and all these young people: super helpful, super friendly, great atmosphere with dinner out. A beautiful summer on the TMB!!!

Two nights at the shelter. The cottage was clean, the welcome to the top. We'll do it again. A beautiful setting. breathtaking views. And the meal to be enjoyed after a day of rando. Between the potato omelette, the cheese and the blueberry pie or the white cheese, we have feasted.
