Well...we 're staying about 10 miles away, and wanted somewhere 'authentic ' for Sunday lunch, but not too expensive. Did the normal research and this place came up. It seemed ideal so we took our chances and set off. First impressions great, the car park was full and the overspill was filling up the church car park! We were a bit late (threeish) but were made welcome and seated directly. There 's a choice of menus which we picked from at random! Starters were fine..we both went for the charcuterie, which came with melon and white asparagus as surprise extras! Then we were given a degustation of calvados on an apple sorbet, quite something. The main courses were quite superb. The other half...
