I tried the Croque Madame, and it was delicious! I do wish there was a bit more béchamel sauce, but the amount on the toast was still satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this dish! The Cauliflower Nachos were pretty good too! Most of the nachos were generously coated in their sauce, which I enjoyed. However, they could have included more cauliflower, as there were a lot of small pieces and just a few larger ones scattered on the plate.
Then there’s the Koshihikari rice: be sure to mix it well! Two poached eggs were the perfect addition, and the flavor was delightful—I’d recommend this as well! As for the ginger ale, it had a strong ginger flavor and...
Where should I begin? The positive: the food is unbelievably good! We tried the BLT, and it’s out of this world. We wanted to try everything from the pastry window, but it’s almost impossible due to the wide variety. We ordered the croque madame, and while the ingredients and flavors are top quality, the combination left us feeling sorry. It missed the creamy and cheese experience in the kitchen! Nothing to do with the original. The creme brulee bombolone and the other one, I can recall its name, were excellent! Finally, the atmosphere is beautiful! But, there are also some negative things. First, the system to get in has many flaws. After almost 40 minutes of waiting, you pay for everything...
One of the better dining experiences I’ve had in LA a must try. Enjoyable atmosphere that is both intimate and lively with good lighting. The service is great, you’re frequently checked on, refilled, and given new silverware plates for eachcourse by an array of servers. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients, as well as the historyof the building. Most importantly, the food was incredible. All of the flavors were absolutely amazing, everything cooked toperfection. Each course was consistent in its execution! If you’re a foodie, this place is for you.
Like all the other reviews, line wrapped around outside but it moved quickly. We were in line for 30 minutes (Sunday brunch). Valet parking available. Food was average. Service was fairly quick once we sat down. We weren't served any water until we were almost done eating but the guy was apologetic. I overtipped given what the servers did in terms of just dropping off our food, hopefully it goes to the entire staff, ie the chefs/cooks in the back.

To order, stand in line... They guide you to order bakery and ask if you want to pay separately if you don't order bakery. If you don't buy bakery, you can pay right away. I had French toast, Benedict, and regular coffee. Even if you only have one cup of regular coffee, they give you a pot. Absolutely perfect! The breakfast and food are delicious. The only downside is that it can get quite pricey if you visit frequently.
The food was amazing, the ambiance and the service was better than expected. Loved it!
