We weren't staying here, and dropped in for a drink one night. We didn't like the atmosphere much and weren't inclined to eat here, but the next night was Sunday and there didn't seem to be any real option so we thought we'd chance it. The service was fairly brisk but perfectly friendly and the food was fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, but on the other hand you can get a perfectly reasonable meal here and shouldn't be put off. There are tables by the window with a great view. On the down side, it was really hot and stuffy.
We ventured into this restaurant on a Tuesday lunchtime and it was quite full. Managed to get a table for 4 for Menu del dia. We had to wait 15 mins or so but no problem taking a drink at the bar first. When we were sent through to the restaurant area we were attended to quite quickly. The menu del dia included a fairly decent red wine. Food was excellent. Service was very efficient despite the large numbers of other lunchtime diners too. Worth a visit
Hotel restaurant very correct we return to otxagabia, remembering old times and challenging the time the hotel restaurant, continues to give a very good deal, have not changed, if not to better eat good and simple and the pintxos well elaborated (received facts, as you ask)When I say well elaborated, they are well prepared (I am used to them, because I am from Hondarribia)
Desayunamos en este bar todo esto por 8'4€: Café Colacao Pintxo de tortilla muy generoso Bocadillito de panceta con pimientos Napolitana de chocolate .... Los dos pintxos estaban muy ricos. Ese día también tenían otros bocadillos y tortillas de atún, de txistorra... Nosotros estuvimos en el bar pero también tienen parte de hotel

Qué lugar más estupendo para comer !!!. El menú no tiene desperdicio. Alimentos km 0, bien cocinados y mejor trato y ambiente. Salimos súper contentos. Para volver muchas veces. Se trata del restaurante del hotel rural auñamendi que también tiene muy buena pinta. Da gusto ir a sitios así.
Solo puedo opinar de unos bocadillos que encargamos...ESPECTACULARES. El camarero de la barra fue muy amable al solicitar bocadillos para llevar de excursión. Posteriormente cuando los devoramos en la selva de Irati estaban riquísimos.
Hemos comido muy a gusto, hemos pedido el menú que es variado y económico, la comida muy rica y buena cantidad. Nos ha atendido Rosalba que fue muy atenta y simpática. Muy recomendable este sitio!!!
El hotel tiene bar y un salón restaurante. Es recomendable reservar. Ofrece un menú de 18€, que está bastante bien de cantidad y posibilidad de elegir entre varios entrantes y primeros platos.

They served poor quality food that included fries for nearly 80 euro (with wine). The menus lack English or even French translation.
