I had a small Sunday lunch with my mother and my aunt, nothing really fancy I picked the restaurant because I knew their tartare was marvellous. It was also super delicious this very Sunday! For dessert, I chose "compote of pear and fennel served...with a muffin made of tonka beans". I was curious about the dessert, although I am not much into tonka beans. The young lady that waited our table had probably noticed that I was chewing on the cake.... she offered to bring me a second portion of the compote instead, which was a culinary highlight. A marvellous combination that I will try to cook myself.... I can highly recommend the Hotel Uzwil...for the food and for the superb service.
I had dinner at the Brasserie Allegra on 8 September. I was blown away by the quality of the food and creativity in the menu. As a starter I had the curry soup with prawns, very tasty. Didn't expect something this fresh and flavorful. I...had the tenderloin steak as a main course, cooked perfectly medium with tasty garlic butter on the side. Service was prompt and friendly in a atmosphere that is a nice cross between contemporary and traditional Swiss accents. High recommended!
Am Hochzeitsvorabend unserer Tochter haben wir in der Brasserie des Hotels einen unvergessliche Abend verbracht. Angefangen von unserer Bedienung , die uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen hat , bis zur Essenauswahl. Jedes Gericht super lecker, regional. Tolles Ambiente im Haus. Man fühlt sich sofort aufgehoben. Preis Leistungs Verhältnis top. Danke für diesen Abend.
Tolle Brasseriekarte, alles sehr liebevoll und lecker gekocht. Kompetenter und zuvorkommender Service. Wir haben das Esserlebnis sehr genossen. Angenehme Atmosphäre, tolle Einrichtung, Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Restaurant und Hotel. Gediegenes Ambiente und sehr feines Essen. Wir haben auch die schöne Bar besucht einmalig. Wir kommen gerne wieder in das Lokal es war ein Erlebnis

Ruhig, feine essen, höflicher Service und Bedingung, gute Weinen. Gemütliche Atmosphäre, aber leider wenig Parkplatz.
