Having walked on the plage of Menton we tried to find a place. Unfortunately on the hungry side we did not check Tripadvisor and only found a free table here. We sat down at 1:35, our table did not get cleaned after we ordered food at 1:47, then received drinks at 2:01, and they finally brought some cutlery on the empty tables at 2:18. I have been here several times, usually on my way to see a concert or do something in Menton. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, the menu is simple but very good. Service has always been excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. It's wonderful to sit outside, except when it is either REALLY warm or REALLY cold, but that's true with most of these restaurants near the beach. It's generally a delightful environment, kid-friendly (but not kid-crazy) and is also great just for a cocktail as well. The steak tartar I had was great, and the carpaccio was also excellent.

Awful experience. Awful waiters. Food quite nice. If you attempt speak French you will be ridiculed and if you speak English you will be ridiculed by surely young ish waiters. Go elsewhere. Dont waste time and money on this lot.

My wife and I ate a salad for lunch here on Our arrival day. The waitor was more focused on packing up the restaurant for the Winter (or something) but he came by Our table once in a while and the salads weren't bad.
