The restaurant offers a fresh whole grain bread roll, which is generously sized. However, the white rice pilaf is unremarkable. The iceberg house salad is wilted, and Caesar salad is available for an additional charge with no apparent reason. The home fries are quite good, but the unshelled shrimp has a tasty batter with a tough texture. The beefsteak with sautéed mushrooms is decent, but no bottled steak sauce was provided or offered. The service is friendly but poor, with a very slow pace despite the lack of busy business. The table d'hote meal is overpriced for its portion size and quality. It is recommended that the new management should focus on improving the menu as much as they did on...

My family, including an adult and a child, visited the restaurant. We often dine at their main competitor, Casa Grecque, so the comparison was simple. The portions here were smaller, especially the calamari and mixed platter appetizers, which were insufficient for even one person. For our main dishes, we all ordered scampi, with mine being served with filet mignon. The scampi portions were tiny, and while the meat was good, the dish was not worth the high price. The restaurant had only one waiter serving the entire place, but he managed to provide us with quick service. It would have been a concern if the restaurant had been full, but it was only half full during our visit.
Fresh whole grain bread roll, a generous size. But unremarkable (white) rice pilaf. Why white?Wilted iceberg house salad; Caesar is extra, for no good reason.Quite good home fries.Unshelled shrimp; tasty batter, but tough texture.Decent beefsteak with sauteed mushrooms, but no bottled steak sauce was provided nor offered.Friendly but poor service, very slow. Business wasn't busy enough to justify the delay.Although the meal was table d'hote, the item was overpriced for its portions (not to mention its quality). The new management should have spent as much effort on the menu as the renovation.
We went as a family, 3 adults and one child. We have been to their main competitor (Casa Grecque) many times and the comparison was easy. Here the portions were smaller. Appetizers were the calamari and the pikilia. Not even enough for one person. For main course we all had the scampis, mine with the filet mignon. The $16 scampis were miniscule. The meat was good, but the plate was not worth the $28 price tag. Only one waiter was serving the entire restaurant, but he managed to give us prompt enough service. It would have been doubtful if the place was full (it was only half full). Book a table now
The waitress made an effort, but I have to say that we have been coming here for many years and it has never been this dirty. The fork was not clean, and we had to ask for new glasses because they were dirty. The coffee cups also had gray spots on the outside, which was concerning.
when they are in montreal, they have many restaurants, and what they should do is at the first they see, they see the menu, most of them have them outside, and then they go out to relax and have a good time, this is a place...who can they relax and for the price is very good

This is a great family resto and it's a bring your own wine. The food is very good- something on the menu for everyone. The prices are reasonable. Just call ahead to make a reservation...especially on the weekend. Book a table now
