This is an old restaurant right near the railway station and the 'bus terminus. It is also very close to the main street and centre of town. It is described as mediterranean cuisine but is mainly Italian with a few extra dishes. It opens for long hours so is a good option at times when other restaurants are closed such as Sunday evening. The owner hails from Turkey many years ago and is a very good host, seeing that everything is to the customer 's satisfaction. He has an interesting wine list and knows the wines well so ask him if you need more information. The pasta is Italian in style, so expect less sauce than one may get in the UK or some other countries.
Passed by on my first night here and went in the second. Very friendly welcome immediately sussed we were English and shown to table. Good range on the menu including an extensive pizza selection, which is what brought me in. Service was good, food was fine but ambiance was a bit dour. Situated by the train station it's geared up for tourists, which is what it was populated by. Dire Straits on as musac. It certainly wasn't buzzing. All in all it was fine. Good value and good service but no wow factor.
Had lunch there today after a board meeting! It looked good on a 1st impression but food was very basic! Service was ok, best was the desert, main was basic snd interior is a mix of everything i guess not sll lot if choice spart from take away here in dietikon. ;
