We went there with the intent of trying some traditional german dishes and we weren't proven wrong: the menu is wide and traditionial and all we tried was very good. On top of that, the personnel is extremely nice and welcoming (since the menu is...only written in german they spent a lot of time translating it, advising us on the best dishes they had and generally chatting and joking with us). The restaurant is sited where the city ends, right at the edges of a forest and during the days of good weather I would definitely advise to eat outside like we did: it makes the whole experience more reaxing and satisfying!
After a bike ride in the Darmstadt forest we stopped off for some lunch in the Bolle’s Biergarten, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We requested green sauce with the white asparagus rather than Hollandaise and the friendly, efficient server was very accommodating and kind. My bf...enjoyed his Wiener schnitzel and we both loved eating outside surrounded by large old trees with plenty of space between tables ensuring privacy.
The restaurant has a super nice quiet location outside Darmstadt. There are enough parking spaces for guests. The inner and outer areas make a pleasant impression. The selection of the card is extensive and offers a variety of dishes and drinks. Price performance is good. The service is competent, professional and friendly. The food is lovingly prepared and tastes fantastic, personally I found the burgers very good.
Very close to the forest of Darmstadt you can find this restaurant which is a perfect place after a good walk or getaway in the nature. It offers a big area for outside seating so it is very pleasant in the summer time. The staff...is friendly and the restaurant offers a free parking area in front. There is a little playground outside for the kids, too.

Lovely lunch with friends... Best was the seasonal cream mushroom soup with ham..and the large salad with mushrooms and nicely pan fried beef steak. Nice..
