As admirers of the Austrian writer Carl Zuckmayer (note, this is the correct spelling!,) we headed for this restaurant, to see what the author of "The Blue Angel" ate when he and his wife settled in Saas Fee in the 1950's. These dishes proved very good, notably a Grisons barley soup that was rich and creamy, a cheese fondue that was perfectly blended, and venison from the new hunting season ("la chasse" as they call it in Switzerland.) We were lucky in coming off-season, because service was efficient in the evening. And if it is not, each booth has a little bell you can press to summon the waiter!
Every year for Christmas parties, we come to eat at least one evening with family. mr zuckmayer recognizes us from one year on the other what is very pleasant. The service is very good. I especially recommend their cheese fondue which is divine! The restaurant is very well placed, in the middle of the city. I recommend!

Uoow…. Genial! Zufällig eingetreten und positiv überrascht. Dieser Fleken ist grundsätzlich nicht günstig. Aber unter diesen Umständen wahre Freude… Hammer Küche, toller Service, schön eingerichtet, … Gerne Wieder!
Wir haben hervorragend gegessen. Cordonbleu sind empfehlenswert. Äußerst freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Schöne Dekoration. Rundum zufrieden. Kommen gerne wieder.
Ausgezeichnetes Fondue Bourguignonne, vor allem von den Pommes Frites konnten wir nicht genug bekommen! Dazu passte der Cornalin vom Maison Gilliard hervorragend.
Das Essen, der Service und die Atmosphäre sind einfach top! Wir waren dreimal hintereinander zum Abendessen hier.
