I was here on Easter Sunday for a late lunch, and sat outdoors in glorious sunny weather. The waitress couldn't speak much English but her service and attentiveness made up for it, and I was given an English menu. I had the set lunch for 48 Sfrs, with one of the best mixed salads I had that I can remember. The main course of grilled lamb chops was a bit undercooked. Would have given them 4 stars but I think I was mistakenly overcharged for more glasses of wine than I actually took. Good place to have a relaxing lunch outdoors in this charming town.
We had both meat and fish dishes and the food was excellent, and the service was very prompt and efficient. As we ate out on the terrace outside, and the tables were well spaced out, there was no need for any social distancing measures or to wear face masks.
It is a nice, uncomplicated Swiss-style pub, filled with locals. Enjoy a Spätzli while you are having a beer, that's it. For Swiss prices, I would even say that it is cheap but good.
Best salad I have ever had to accompany my pork escalope. Beautiful selection of fresh ingredients with colour and wonderful presentation. Well done chef !!!
