visit moustiers Sainte-Marie on Monday in november, we fought to find a place to lunch. the tourist office kindly gave us a list of five restaurants that were supposed to be open, but only de l’etoile served lunch this day. it would not have been necessary. my choice with others, but we were pleasantly surprised. it is a simple family-run restaurant with delicious local food, definitiw no tourist trap. the man works behind the bar in the open kitchen and the woman makes the front of the house. we all had the daily special, bratted pork cakes with kartoffelmaisch. again, not something I would normally have ordered, but it was delicious, with a glass of red from the region. on the first look, the interieur reminds me of an old bistro or tabac, a bit dated, but ok. this is quiet a cheap place to eat with a quite simple menu. we paid 16 € each for a boneless lamb with salat and fryed. The...lamb was nicely cooked. the sweet that consisted of courgettes was ok, but average. to dessert I had a cream caramel that was very beautiful. the meal including drinks came to €42 euro, which is not bad considering the general prices of restaurants in the region cote d’azur.
experience is not to renew. This restaurant has nothing to envy, except its pretty façade. the server didn't look inclined to host a large group. We ordered, among other things, a verdon salad with my friends, nothing justifies the value ratio. in this pretty region, tasting a slice of raw ham should not create a war effort. I would have liked to get out more satisfied; Unfortunately I don't recommend it.

We've never been used so raw potatoes! back 3 times in the kitchen for the same thing and idem for our table neighbors (festiviously the dish was offered. seeing later the google opinions on these same "frites" it would be time to question ....

Excellent déjeuner en terrasse .Dégustation d'un excellent gigot .Le service est un peu long mais pourtant les propriétaires sont a la manœuvre sans faillir!!!!Il faut dire que lorsque l'heure du repas a sonné ,tout le monde arrive en même temps.La qualité du repas fait oublier ce petit moment d’impatience.

I'm not recommending! service not the most pleasant. flat unworked and without real flavor, I took the leans to salmon and even found a hair in it. I was with friends and their dish was the same. a beautiful location and a beautiful terrace do not do everything.
