We visited this restaurant during warmer days and quite enjoyed it, so we decided to go again during February vacation. It was really disappointing! It was Sunday so there were no good deals to be had on the menus & my Baeckeoffe came after my entire family had already finished eating! I realize that this is a meal that takes some time to cook, but the others had been finished for a good 15 minutes by the time my meal came out. Plus the service was harried and overwhelmed. The food is still quite good, but I found it overpriced and the service was not as friendly as before. Oh well. That is why life is too short to go back to the same restaurants!
We found this restaurant in the Routard (French guide) and were so happy that we did. It's a little bit of the beaten track, but the service is amazingly friendly, the restaurant cozy and the food delicious with a grandmotherly feel to it. We had the menu du jour which was a steal at something like 10 euros. The four children loved their meals & there was even a little cat sitting nearby (to the childrens' delight... less to my husband's). Afterward, you must leave your car and take your children on a walk up the path at the end of the street, which is lovely, relaxing and a good way to burn off some of those calories.
It is about 2km out of the village and there are signs to follow, if not a little small some of them. We had an alright meal nothing fancy to write home about. Home cooked food with no frills. I had steak and it was a little tough and my husband had the duck breast with mushrooms which was fine. We sat outside as it was a hot evening and we were constantly bothered by flies. Nothing they can do, but it did not make it an enjoyable evening for us. It was eat and get out of there.

We discovered this restaurant by chance following the hints. despite our arrival at 2:00 p.m. we were very welcome. We chose the cheese and charcuterie board to share. then what board, it made all the width of the table and with many varieties, very fresh products. price more than reasonable thanks for everything, we hold this address.
very beautiful frame, in a superb nature, pleasant room, nice and pleasant welcome. but too much waiting and very disappointing dishes, very very medium and too expensive for what it is.I do not recommend this restaurant because the kitchen is really any and has nothing refined.

on the 26/12 at night, we were very well received despite the heating problem but it allowed us to see the ceramic stove active and very effective. the flam's were excellent as well as the deserts. A place we recommend.
