We've been here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Our experiences at lunch weren't positive. The servant's girl was a little grumpy, and found that at the table we picked, couldn't be eaten, because if it was going to rain, we couldn't just sit there. Her colleague disagreed, brought us the menu, and the ordered asssiettes were the cruditary. Two days later, we were with four adults and two kids. We'd seen a children's menu on the map, and since the parents were sleeping with the kids in fleur, we went back to this restaurant. How different was the receipt from the same girl. I spent 2 days in Fleurie, and this was our local bar. Evening drinks, and morning coffee were enjoyed, with the place really buzzing in the early and late evening, although much quieter for morning coffee, with the locals going in for their early alcohol.At all times I found the serving staff efficient , friendly and hard working. The proprietor also very friendly.I've not eaten here but suggest the menu is good value with local dishes, (eg Oeufs en Murette)and will certainly give it a try next visit. The service at this cafe is the worst I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. An extremely unfriendly unhelpful young waitress who either can't stand tourists, or English people or both, eventually took our order after 20-30 minutes. It took an hour and a half to get a starter and a a main course to the table. We lost the will to wait for desert, or coffee, or even the bill, eventually just leaving the money on the table. Food was acceptable but avoid at all costs if you want to have any sense of being welcome or you are in any kind of a hurry.
The waitress couldn't even manage to say 'bon appetit' when she literally threw the plates in front of us. I saw her smile to other costumers so she was able of it, well not to us. It felt like we did something totally wrong but I didn't understand what. I have never felt so bad after eating in a restaurant, they were THAT unfriendly. The food was OK though but I never wan't to go bac there.

The restaurant has a little surprising card even though there's also a bunch of juices on it like bv coq au vin. There's a very extensive wine card with virtually local and regional wines. The price/quality relationship is fine, and if you don't expect a michelin star level, you can eat fine.
The area is beautiful, and when your fleur comes in, you're about to run into restaurant sports at cozy bar and idem terrace. The owner's morielle is extremely considerate and the service fast and well, nice lunch and dinner, salad beaujoliase is a true advocate!
well prepared regional dishes, reasonable prices, a pleasant service, we do not regret the evening spent in this restaurant on the advice of our hotel. It should be noted, however, that the waiting time is too long between the dishes to make this meal perfect.
Stopped in for lunch, loaded with locals and not much in the way of translation but we managed. The service was fine and the food was fresh. Contrary to some of the other reviews, we had no problems with the staff.
