If you want to retain the Chateau atmosphere but also get some fresh air while you dine, this is the place. On a warm, sunny day, we had made a reservation and were seated near a brook, surrounded by fragrant box hedges... with a glass of chilled rosé, it made for a wonderful respite. Didn't necessarily have very high expectations for the cuisine but it was decent. We both went for foie gras, confit du canard and light desserts featuring the Chantilly cream. The foie gras was better than expected, the confit wasn't the best we have had but it was solid, and the strawberries/cream and sorbets/cream were both quite delicious. We went there for the strawberries with Chantilly Cream. It was just delicious! I can't have enough rave. It was all we expected and then some. Service was excellent and friendly. The only two disadvantages are the long walks, the terrain and the...toilets The toilets near the Hameau are pretty bad, but that's not why we left, so no big thing. I say if you want authentic Chantilly Cream and fresh strawberries, the Hameau is the place to go!
We have been dining here for many years each fall when in Paris. The food is superb and is locally styled from it's region Picardy. Because it is prepared in the style of the Picardy region one should embrace the regional differences. The service is...very friendly. Chantilly is only a 20 mins train trip from Paris and a meal is a perfect thing to experience alone or in concert with a visit to the chateau.
We stopped in because of other's reviews and all three of us ordered a dessert with chantilly creme. My combination of fresh strawberries and creme left a lasting impression--what a wonderful combination! Yes, a little pricey but this gave us a chance to sample a local speciality item in lovely gardens.

You have to walk a long way through the chateau grounds to get to du Hameau but it's worth it. We took the 3 course menu which comprised a foie gras salad, duck confit and a dessert ( with Chantilly cream). The servings were quite large so we took our time! The service was very engaging!
After an amazing morning visit to the Chateau de Chantilly and the Horse Museum, fresh strawberries and Chantilly cream were absolutely delicious in the restaurant du Hameau. Prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately, the service was bad and unfriendly.

The restaurant is in a relaxing outdoor setting. Every course of the set menu, menu du Hameau was delicious. The ocean salad was awesome. All finished off with fresh strawberry and yummy Chantilly cream paired with cappucino.

The food and service here was unexpectedly good. One of the best meals we have had in Paris. A bonus for visiting Chantilly Chateau.
Food here is ok, nothing special. Prices are high because it's in the gardens of the Chateau. Next time I would bring a picnic.
