I was here with my family. it was a good thing that we had previously made a reservation, as the place was packed (saturday evening). the predominant majority of customers were natives who told for a restaurant that is far from the center of larger cities...and outside the season. the personal was friendly and competent (speaks French, natural, but also German and English). there are traditional dishes of the region elsass, but also other French and Italian dishes. had tarte with escargots flambé? here is a chance! good local wine selection. it was a bit strange to pay theke after having been waiting at the table, but as in rom.
This restaurants ' specialty is the 'tarte flambée ', a local dish which is pretty similar to pizza but garnished with totally different ingredients, a thinner and crustier dough and baked in a wooden oven. In contrast to other local providers of this dish, the tarte flambée...at Flams Gourmandes are rich, well baked, well-proportioned and utterly delicious. Total recommended if you like local food. The menu presents other seasonal dishes aswell. Staff is very friendly. Price is reasonable towards cheap. Full stomach for less than 15 euros.
we came after the hike in the mountains and what a great sound it was. for me this was the best tarte flambee that I had in Alsace and would highly recommend it. we sat outside, but the restaurant looks very nice inside. we had the tarte flambee with Munster cheese that they made vegetarian for me and my partner by taking the meat. great service and eat and perfect for a stop after a day in the mountains.
the service is made without chichi but welcoming, and the choir of flambées pies is very wide, the salts like the sweet (on the map of the desserts for them) . there are also other dishes (including pizzas) for those who do not want to flambées pies. I loved the torch pie for dessert: a tuna! I'll go back as soon as I can

It exists in the valley of munster. a good restaurant that offers deliciously cooked flambées pies, just to the point, a good crunchy paste without being burned.... a beautiful garnish and at very affordable rates like all the proposals from the map. a good plan without any hesitation
honestly seen the reputation of the place and the quality of the flames I had consumed on the spot. I figured out why not take one to take away. and I wish I had been a little disappointed with the quantity but not the quality. Maybe to plan a flame box and not a pizza box.
We came for a late lunch, at 2pm and the cuisine accepted to stay open for us, a very nice gesture. The service was great and the tartes flambees really delicious. We couldn 't have stop in a better place.

the restaurant on the terrace we liked, we went there twice. The torched pie is extra, pizza too. The bosses are nice, the service is fast. I recommend
good local « flames » and also pizzas. beautiful atmosphere. very efficient. open daily!
