I don't know why I'm writing this because it's already 50/50 whether they get a table at gordion, but here it goes... the bark at gordion is one of the best they'll find - everywhere on the world . not the best, well-picked, but consistently excellent. I was probably 20 times there in the last three or so years and never was a bit disappointing. it is occupied by attractive and friendly waitresses and they have good wein to good trips. they can't do anything wrong. even if they live in augsburg, the 15-minute drive to gordion is worth more than.
Went for a meal here with a couple of colleagues and had a rib eye steak, which I ordered blue. My colleagues had a sirloin and a (more cooked) rib eye. All three meals arrived very quickly and cooked to perfection! the meat was fantastic and was...juicy and cut like butter. One of the best steaks I have ever had in a restaurant. The service was attentive, friendly and efficient with a sense of humour Faultless.
we had the veggieburger and the salat from the buffet to dinner. the food was well prepared and tasted really good and the price was more than in order (and generous portions, they will certainly not remain hungry). it is not so common that a good steakhouse also serves good vegetarian eating, but gordion really supplies. also. friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I can come back here without any problems.

Had all steaks ordered all were absolutely perfect medium fried and mega delicious! The service staff super friendly and attentive we have accidentally fallen a knife on the ground, immediately and completely without request came a waitress with new cutlery! The delicious food is absolutely recommended!
On 29 October 2020 a great evening despite Corona experienced; with very good food selected on the steak card; we three colleagues were very enthusiastic and were served very well and friendly.
super steakhouse in the otherwise boring royal fountain. always good and delicious. also recommended in corona time! employees are always nice and have fun too.
