If you visit Lucerne, Switzerland, and have access to a car, then crank the GPS and go to magnificently picturesque Eigenthal, a short drive from the city where you will not only enjoy a different view of Pilatus, Lucerne 's Signature Mountain (although Rigi partisans would not vote), but find the unforgettable restaurant Hammer. In his dining room you will find photos of swing festivals (Swiss style Wrestling), an infallible sign of hammer 's original-Swiss authenticity. The Hammer Restaurant, Eigenthal/Switzerland, is average in every regard, the food mostly typical convenience food the Service friendly, but very young and unexperienced people, the dishes and the tableware staple the atmosphere somewhat modern, somewhat traditional, but no clear style. The Restaurant would deserve a higher quality throughout.

It is a place where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. But... the service of the restaurant was very, very bad. Because of the bad food, we had the opportunity to talk to the owner of the place, and she was not even excused for her mistakes. She treated us like tourists who don't know how to eat.

We had a great evening. The food was going, the staff was kind. Great place. Beautiful terrain with magnificent views of the Pilatus Mountain.
