We were delighted that this hotel uses the local ingredients and in specialties on its menu. During the asparagus season they had several offers to highlight the wonder that is white and green German asparagus. We enjoyed our whole food very much. My mother discovered a new mixed drink she loved (the Hugo). The server was polite and solicitous. He forgot to bring a few things when he was asked and was embarrassing. I think with a little more time and training he will be an excellent server. I came back in the morning and had tea instead of full breakfast and was very happy with the loose tea and its accents. There were 20 of us here on a bike tour around Constance Lake. The driver who loaded our luggage has been treated rudely. He could not park near the door to unload our luggage. The food was okay, but the staff was rude. We all had to go to the bar to order drinks. No one would take our order at the table. We had planned a three course meal before our arrival, and after we had waited 30 minutes after our meal, we were all tired and just went to our rooms without dessert.
