As I was staying overnight in Basel, in Birsfelden and I had arrived late, I was left with little option to go eat anywhere. Across the street the lady from the Hotel told me that down the street there was a place I could get a kebab. My first instinct was that of slight disgust because the last thing I needed was a bit of fast food. But gladly I was proven wrong and I had enjoyed a very good Turkish meal. It is far from a quick fast food kebab snack bar and instead this is a full fledged restaurant with a very hospitable owner and chef. Auf Empfehlung einer Arbeitskollegin sind wir dort eingekehrt. 4 Personen, 4 verschiedene Gerichte (unter anderem richtig feiner Fischteller und Pasta à Discretion für nur CHF 16.90 und wunderbar angerichtet. Wir haben ca. 10 Minuten auf die Vorspeise gewartet und dann nochmals ca. 5 10 Minuten auf die Hauptgerichte. Parkplatz hinter dem Haus und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Preis Leistung ok!!. if you are looking for a simple but good and friendly place to have lunch or dinner, this is it - also one of the only nice anatolian venues in the basel area. very good value, food is fresh and carefully made. i would recommend the delicious stuffed eggplants. the room design might not be very stylish and it is not the most hip place to eat, however, it is a very warm and friendly little restaurant.

Das Restaurant hatte nicht genügend Personal. Wir mussten lange warten bis das Essen serviert wurde. Service Mitarbeiter war nicht freundlich. Im Menü stand Suppe drin, jedoch meinte der Kellner, dass sie keine Suppe haben sondern nur Salat.Bei der Rechnung gabs auch ein durcheinander. Es war ziemlich ärgerlich.
es dauet viel zu lang bis das essen auf den tisch kommt.wir haben die spezialität des hauses gegessen *grillplaten* fladenbrot sehr zäh,nür 2 fleisch sorte,lamm ok ,poulet zu trocken

Wenn man die Karte liest versteht man nur Bahnhof. Aber wenn das essen dann serviert wird, bleibt man sprachlos. So feines unbekanntes Essen. Top Qualität! Einfach der Hammer!!!
