We went for a late lunch and dined in. The service was good. I also ordered take out to bring home. I enjoyed the food. Medium spiced was perfect for my taste. We brought our own beer which paired nicely with the cuisine. I had Thali veg plate with salad, nan, eggplant, deal with rice. Perfect portions and delicious. My husband ordered the non-vegetables Thali and was very pleased. It came with lamb curry, salad, nan, rice, and daal. I'm so happy to have found this place. It will be a welcome addition to our weekly routine.
Family-run restaurant with friendly, quick service... Oh yeah, and the best home cooking style north Indian cuisine at very low prices (8-10$ for vegetarian and meat mains). I always make sure to visit when I am in town, and I have been going for 4 years. I recommend the saag and madras dishes, as well as the perfectly fried fish pakoras. The decor and ambience is minimal, but this is a place to bring your appetite (and your own wine!) rather than your fashion sense. I cannot recommend Kuljit India strongly enough!
Went for a late lunch. We were served quickly. Had samosas, fried fish and a vegetarian spinach plate. Everything was delicious and fresh. The medley of flavours were amazing. Prices were good for what we ordered and portions were perfect. Even took home some samosas for the rest of the family. Will definitely go again!
Second best indian food in montreal! we were served very quickly the lady was very polite, and the food was... so great when i got ou i regreted ordering that much because i could not bringit back with me since we were taking a plane the morning after because i would've eaten that for breakfast it was soo good.

Had the chance to eat food from Kujit at a friend's home. We were a group of 12 and someone from the group picked-up the food at the restaurant. Everything was tasty and we had a huge quantity for 15$ per person. Lots of diversity. Seems to be really authentic Indian food. Highly recommended.
It's a hit or miss. Generally the food is good and you get a lot for the price you pay. But in terms of freshness it really depends on the day.
It was my first time trying Indian food and wasn't disappointed at all! My boyfriend suggested I start with the lentil soup and it was bomb.
We ordered Fish pakoda and butter chicken. It was very good. chiken tandoori was not as expected but the over quality was very good.
