Restaurant la Cremaillere

We always dread the cattle like treatment of people going through airports, particularly budget airline ones and Marseille is no exception to this! So our final meal was one way we could prepare for the horrors ahead. We looked at the nearest town to...the airport and found La Cremaillaire on Tripadvisor which appeared to have favourable reviews. It is run by a charming young couple and the open air terrace inside the restaurant was delightfully quirky. As we only had limited time we only ordered a main course of Roullade of Veal which was absolutely delicious and the best meal we had during our stay in Provence.

I was early for my flight out of Marseille and did not want to eat at the airport. I just took the first place that looked fine. I was very pleasently surpriced in regard of service and the quality of the food with an excelent...quality/price ratio. The owner spoke English very well and made an effort in explaining the menu to me. Next time I leave from Marseille again, I will go there again.

A perfect three course lunch before flying home, sat on a shady terrace with great service. Very friendly staff- keen to practice their English and generally made us feel very welcome. Nice choice of fresh dishes, with a good selection and well cooked. Certainly much...nicer than going to a local chain restaurant.

the staff was very friendly, spoke English good and helped in the translation of the menu. nice eating and ambiente. would go back and would certainly recommend

an amazing meal, nice eating and really beautiful people. I would recommend to everyone to visit this area.
