the guard room is a restaurant to be made just after visiting the palace of the isle and its cachots. Indeed, the setting of the restaurant leaves us in the castle atmosphere with its stone walls, its old thick wood doors and its iron bars to the windows. and in addition we stay in Haute-Savoie with wooden tables and chairs cut from a heart, and its red towel. The welcome is very warm and even if you are served by a new seasoner, the stress is not at the rdv because it is accompanied by someone who takes the time to train it. Pizzas are made home and are excellent. What to finish the day charged with tourist visits on a good meal! nb: attention, however, overall, never to arrive later than 7...
Evening meal with family that has normally passed, you wonder if the dishes are bought quite well, for example the charcuterie plate is an assortment of hams and sausage purchased at the local supermarket, finally it looks. Almost unpleasant service. A noisy room (even if they are not responsible). Conclusion a restaurant that does not satisfy its savoyard restaurant qualities (as named on the sign) and that displays prices far too much than it is capable of serving.
we came a noon (or rather about 3pm) to eat and we were received. we ordered a traditional savoyard fondue and its salad for two people. It was very good and hearty for a price more than easy. really great restaurant when you want to discover the savoyard specialties without ruining yourself in the tourist traps. We'll be back.
the setting within the old town is very pleasant as the interior room with a particular atmosphere. However, we will deplore, as in many restaurants, a very important part of the desserts and others from the freezer. This still shows the framework and the price.

good address or pleasant welcome and hearty specialties make a very good time in the alleys. The croziflette is very well passed even in August. for prices, they are in the average of other restaurants around and remain reasonable (about 25€ per person)
Friendly establishment where we are very welcome. Dogs are also welcome. I ate a dish of the day with daylight, it was very good. Toilets not accessible to people with disabilities, old charming building in the old town.
Very good fondue (the classic). We also took a plate of Charcuterie and that is enough for 2. The tartiflette for the children was also very good. Very good address.
We were warmly welcomed without reservation and had a very authentic raclette!! Very recommended!! Super friendly service, good prices and great selection

Great cooking, great places. I always thought that part of anancy was just a restaurant for tourists. I was wrong. to be recommended.
