Loved this place. Went here with my boyfriend as it was just a short drive from I’lle Rouse and recommended by our hotel. A dinner with a view! We started with the calamari to share. 1 between 2 was large enough. It was accompanied by a great alioli like sauce. For main course, he got the lamb which was excellent and I got the goat which was phenomenal. One of the top dishes I ate while I was on the island. It came in a clay pot and apparently was slow roasted for 8 hours or so so it just fell apart! The sauce/ gravy was so tasty and meaty. As our first night in Santa Reparata was a Sunday shops closed we walked down to get takeaway pizzas while our baby was settled in. They were so good we decided to eat at the restaurant a couple of nights later and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the menu was varied with an emphasis on quality local produce. Portions were generous so 3 courses might be a challenge! They happily adapted dishes to accommodate our vegetarian. The view from the terrace, looking out over Ile Rousse as the sun sets, is a perfect backdrop. Between us, members of our party ate there on 3 nights and enjoyed it every time.
I stayed at the hotel and for convenience tried the restaurant for dinner. The views from the terrace are beautiful, attention was paid to the interior, the staff was friendly and efficient, but the food wasn't up to the same level and rather mediocre. The breakfast the next morning was great, though maybe I simply picked the wrong day...
