We had lunch in the sidewalk cafe area. Service started out fine but once our order was taken, it too far, far too long to get our lunches. The salads arrived in decent time and was pretty good. The entrees took forever. My husband loved his mussels in leek cream sauce but the fries were soggy and had an odd taste. My chicken paillard was basically the same green salad that I started with, plus the paillard which was dry and over-seasoned with dry herbs. Given the long wait we incurred, we had to leave right after lunch. After asking for the check, you would think the waitress would have brought it right away to offset the ridiculous wait. Nope, my husband had to finally get up and ask again...

My boyfriend and I went for Valentines dinner last night, we wanted Italian and I happened to come across this restaurant online and I'm so glad I did! Pastas, fried calamari, and the mussels marinara were cooked to perfection and so filling! Paired with a wine of your choice as the restaurant is BYOB which is a really nice bonus! The prices are very reasonable and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back!

This restaurant has a very nice balanced menu and friendly wait staff. The Maitre D was engaging and pleasant. Make a reservation because this is a popular restaurant! My veal was tasty, maybe not as crisped on the edges as I like. The chicken was a bit dry but tasty as well. We will probably go back.

Located on trendy Crescent Street, L'Acadamie offers a good menu very reasonably priced. The service can be hot or cold depending on when you arrive. The food is much better than average and offers great value. BYOB is an added benefit and offers limited outdoor seating during the warmer months. Book a table now

This three storey restaurant serves no alcohol but welcomes you to bring with you beer and wine for which there are no corkage fees. The food seemed reasonable, although my moules were really small - need to source them from elsewhere.

A very popular resto, located close to the Fine Arts Museum. Some weekdays they offer incredible deals, and their prices are already quite fair. Be warned - portions are generous. Many Bistro and Italian specialties.

My boyfriend and I were in Montreal for the weekend and didn't make reservations a week in advance, so most restaurants were fully booked and didn't have availability.

The Italian food at this branch of l'Academie is mediocre. I have visited a few times and have been disappointed each time. Book a table now

The mussels were fantastic unfortunately the pasta dishes were not as good. Bring your own wine. Quick service.
