We happened to enter this restaurant because other places listed on tripadvisor were full. But what a wobderful surprise. It seems incredible to me that nobody else reviewed this restaurant (maybe it's because it is mainly a hotel? . Well, food was perfect: a great combination between originality and tradition. Really wonderful. There were all the traditional savoy dishes plus many delicacy of the house. A good wine selection and perfect and kind service. The chef that comes out of the kitchen to chat with the guests and be sure that everything is well. Competitive prices (la carte is quite expensive, but there is a 30 euro menu that is extremely satisfying .
Great location but beware as soon as the sun drops behind the mountain everyone leaves. You could get to this without skiing as people walk up the green run from the bottom at Pre la Joux. Typical mountain food which was great though it is mass produced and re-heated - you order at the bar, take a ticket, and queue till its ready - if you want fresh have an omelette which are good. Inside is very cute and traditional but the weather was too good to be in.

courteous and smiling welcome, dishes/cards basics but tasteful with prices of high-altitude restaurant, pretty fast spring service excellent to drink in terrace apart from pancakes and waffles I find a pity that desserts are so expensive...5€ a pie? Even if she's appetizing, you don't have to make fun of people!

This place is not a good value for the money given the quality of food. Food was not up to standards. We came here as we did not find a place next door. we are not recommended only if u are very desperate for food.
friendly staff, very cheap prices, both eating and drinking very good quality. all beautiful atmosphere. return for the year and although others tried, we came back to this restaurant!
We come every year to taste the delicious croute of this high-altitude restaurant, we have given it the title of the best croute of the gates of the soil.
Missing in plans to drain this beautifully self-service terrace, that's why it's safe for wind but with a little less view.
