meat lovers are well kept in the country house hurnen. as a speciality may surely be called the hot stone. a large selection of different meat is available. (horse, bark, calf, bison, wild etc.) on the quality of the meat cannot be exploited. the three served sauces are products purchased in the wholesale market. tastefully not stunning but O.K. very positiw we were surprised by the fresh mixed salad. the homemade latezli were unfortunately too fade. in general at local with hot stone, the smak is a challenge, so also at this local. the service is friendly and endeavored. that a cheerful wein is no longer available can happen. all in all a good local without surprises.
in the country house hurnen we were greeted as guests by the chefin, woman frick, personally.The eschlikoner restaurant is specialized in serving meat on the "heissen stone". my bisonsteak was incredibly delicate and tasty and the salate served was delicious. for me this evening was a culinary experience! I felt the ambiente des restaurants as comfortable and the service as fast and cordial, but unobtrusive. the meat was not exactly cheap, but thanks to its excellent quality, every rapping worth. with a price of 47.- the bottle red wine was certainly not overpriced. the toilets were clean and well maintained.
Meine Freundin hat ihren 30. Geburtstag gefeiert. Wir mussten knapp 2 Stunden warten auf unser Essen, trotz reservation. Das Restaurant war normal besetzt, und das Service Personal war überfordert. Leider werden wir das Lokal nicht mehr besuchen. Wir waren schon einige Male da, aber dieses Mal war es sehr schlecht. Auf keinem Fall besuchen. Schade.

the meat (I decided to bark) on the hot stone tasted very good. also the three sauces for selection were very good. the supplement (Rösti croquettes) could have been a bit more...they were tasty but something lost on the big teller. the service was very friendly.
If you're looking for a Hot Stone Dish (Meat on hot stone): this is your joice. We used to visit when we could afford it and it was worth every penny! I highly recommend this place if you have the money and want to celebrate extraordinary meat.
