This was the second time that I have eaten at this restaurant, the first time was for lunch about two years ago. It is the favorite of a friend that lives in Palaiseau. This has a modern lounge/bar feel with decor focused on red and black with idiosyncratic bronze like sculpture of buddhas and yoda. Don't let the latter put you off as these are small statues are unobtrusive and the decor is actually quite nice. The food here is solid. The first time we went there the restaurant had just opened, the staff was enthusiastic and the food most promising. The second time was OK, although we thought it was a bit overpriced.This time was a different story: the atmosphere was glum, the food was plain -- the fish looked frozen, the gravy was definitely processed, the risotto tasted terrible. When we complained over the 'poire belle helene' -- which we had ordered at the beginning of the meal and was still half frozen, the waitress was downright rude. We asked for the chef, who was too busy to come (was he around at all?) -- there was hardly anyone in the restaurant that night. We won't go back.
I have had a business dinner in this Restaurant, very pretty and nice.very large choice of plates, all arranged in a very elegant way. But it's not "nouvelle cousine" as it's not a simple taste of food, but plates are in right quantity.prices are in line.I suggest at the end la Tarte Tatin, very very good, but you need to tell them before, as they do it at the moment and need ast leasst 15 mn.
Went there few times for business dinners and also with friends and family. Always great welcome, good food, excellent wine, all with reasonable prices. Highly recommended

They just speak french and you are handled as an outsider. We didn't recieve bread although the restaurant is nog very large it took quit a while before we were served.
