Have just eaten here with my wife and mother in law, and cannot recommend the place for it's food, nor for it's management. Twice my wife's beef steak was uneatable, and when we mentioned this to the waiter, he approached his manager. Instead of taking responsibility, the manager handed the problem back to the waiter, who could only apologize and charge is the full price. Poor management, and poor food experience especially at the price charged. We're never coming back, and will not recommend this place to anyone else.

For those who enjoy the convenient meal prior to a concert or opera or play, there are many ‘Le Balcon’s. Food and wine are adequate and the view is lovely. So you will be happy but I totally forget what I ate the other night. No concert either. Life is too short to forget a meal. Enough said.

Le Balcon, within the building of the Philharmonie de Paris, is a good pre-concert dinner option. The menu is limited in choices but well-prepared and delicious, aiming for efficient serving The most fun part is the fluffy upholstered chairs, which make you feel like you're wearing a tutu.

The only reason of going to this mediocre restaurant is for a pre-concert convenience reason and the view. Otherwise don't bother! The food and service are mediocre and prices high, even by Paris standards. What pity with such a great location. Maybe they take themselves for granted.
