Just by the télésiège de La Croix is where you will find Restaurant le Tremplin. You have to make a reservation in advance, by at least a week or so, in peak weeks as tables are always in demand and they are fully booked. The service is so friendly but equally relaxed and thoughtful. The menu size implies the food is homemade and freshly cooked to order. It is. The plat du jours are simple, a little different to the usual en piste food BUT a very welcomed and very tasty offering. This will be a new favourite for the views, the food and the service. During our reservation time, a windy storm was setting in around the Evasion ski area. Tremplin was sheltered from it, so we hadn’t seen or heard...

Very glad we managed to get a table at this mountain restaurant. Food was very very good and my Megeve standards good value and not the usual standard fare. My grilled octopus with chorizo, sweet peppers and herbs followed by constructed lemon tart with warm rhubarb compote was delicious. My guest ate the pacherri with confit of beef, tomato and Tomme, followed by lava chocolate pie with salted caramel nuts which she wasn't prepared to share! Interestingly whilst other restaurants are half full this place always needs a reservation, says a lot I feel. Sadly they are closing this weekend as we intended to return on Monday! We left happy if somewhat full

A favourite of ours. Two winter seasons ago we discovered this gem. We try to visit as often as we can get a reservation. It’s popular. The owners have a great rapport (and share drinks) with the customers who have clearly been visiting for years. To us, this shows us that they value repeat custom over a longer period of time. It’s a well considered, small but ample menu with one or two daily specials. They absolutely deliver on the standard of food. It’s great. Lovely views. We’ll be back, again and again!

Finding this in poor visibility was an adventure but worth the effort Good food, reasonably priced, good atmosphere and nice staff. Not your usual megeve rip off
